Command Lines in AutoCAD

Line is a simple command in AutoCAD. With LINE, you can create a series of adjacent line segments. Every single line segment can be edited separately from the other line segments in a series. You can close sequence so that the line segment joining the first and last segments. This command is often used to create an object like a box, a square etc.

How to use the command line;

type in the command line: line or L and press enter or click on the toolbar line draw

To use the AutoCAD line command, first make sure that the draw toolbar is shown. Click the line command on the draw toolbar,The command line will ask you to specify the first point,Click in the drawing area,Move the mouse to another place in the drawing area and click again. This will draw another line, which is connected to the last point of your first line. , press the Enter key. If you would like to have your last line connect back to your first line (like if you wanted to make a closed box), then do not press the Enter key but right-click, then select Close.
