the secret behind the sweat

Are you know about sweat..?
why humans sweat?
if we get a question like that, what answer would you give?

Sweat is water released by the sweat glands in the skin of mammals. The main content of the sweat is sodium chloride (the main ingredient of table salt) in addition to other materials (which issued a smell) like 2-metilfenol (o-cresol) and 4-metilfenol (p-cresol).

In humans, sweat issued to regulate body temperature, although it is thought that the component of male sweat can act as pheromon.

Evaporation of sweat from the skin surface has a cooling effect due to the latent heat of vaporization of water that takes heat from the skin. Therefore, in hot weather, or when the muscles heat up due to hard work, sweat is produced. Increases in a state of nervous sweat and nausea, and decreased in a state of fever. The animals that have few sweat glands, such as dogs, lower body temperature by opening his mouth sambul stuck out his tongue (panting), so the water evaporates from the oral cavity and pharynx her. Primates and horses, have sweat glands in the armpit as in humans.

There are two different kinds of sweat glands in the composition of sweat produced and their functions:

* Ekrin sweat glands spread over the entire surface of the body but more numerous palms, soles, and face. The sweat produced is water containing various salts. This gland is functioning as a regulator of body temperature.

* Apocrine sweat glands produce sweat that contains fat. This gland is mainly found in the armpits and around the genitals. Activity of these glands produce odor due to the activity of bacteria that break down the organic components of sweat it produces.
