Creating a New File

After the program opens the AutoCAD application, which first appeared is the Start Up Dialog Box. In this dialog box contains several options to initiate the process of drawing using Autocad.

several options in Star Up Dialog Box are:

• Open Drawing

Opening a file that's already been done before, for the purposes of editing, or continue the work that has been in done.

• Start from scratch

Starting a drawing of a blank document, by choosing to use a standard unit of Imperial (feet and Inches) or Metric (millimeters, centimeters, meters).
For Indonesia the standard units used are Metric.

• Use a template.

Start a drawing using a template provided by Autocad, the file extension (format). Dwt
